Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night to watch Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs open the 2026 NFL season against the Denver Broncos. It was her first Chiefs game since marrying Kelce in July, with the pop star watching alongside actor Tom Cruise. The Chiefs came out on top with a 31-10 win.
Kelce played a key role in the win, including a massive 59-yard reception in the third quarter that moved the Chiefs into Denver territory. The veteran tight end finished the night with four receptions for 83 yards as Kansas City earned a well-deserved victory over its AFC West rival.

The reception sent Arrowhead into a frenzy, and cameras quickly caught Swift celebrating the play from her suite.
She jumped up and celebrated with Kelce’s family, as the play also marked an NFL career milestone for the veteran tight end.
Kelce entered the season after seriously considering retirement following the 2025 campaign. Instead, the 36-year-old tight end signed a new one-year contract and returned for his 14th NFL season.
Swift has also regularly attended Chiefs games since their relationship became public in 2023, often drawing attention whenever she appears at Arrowhead or on the road.
Kansas City finished the night with a statement victory, getting two touchdowns from running back Kenneth Walker III and two more scores from quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Its defense limited Denver to 176 total yards.
The Chiefs will return to Arrowhead on Sunday to host the Indianapolis Colts at 8:20 p.m. ET.
