When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce went public with their relationship back in 2023, it brought a lot more eyeballs to Kansas City Chiefs games.
The NFL didn't really need the marketing help, of course. But Swift, arguably the biggest pop star in the world, has her own massive fan base. And many of those fans are not the biggest NFL supporters. But that changed, at least when it comes to Kansas City Chiefs games, as she started dating the team's star tight end.
Swift and Kelce will reportedly be getting married this week. The happy couple is expected to tie the knot in New York City over the Fourth of July weekend.

As Swift and Kelce are set to tie the knot and get married at Madison Square Garden, the iconic pop star is being credited with bringing millions of women into the NFL fandom world.
Christen Goff credits Swift for bringing women to football
Christen Goff, the wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, is crediting Swift with helping make more women football fans.
"It's actually been really interesting to see how my audience has changed over the years," Christen said on WAG World, PEOPLE's recently launched app exclusive digital series. "Now there's so many women interested in sports."
She believes Taylor Swift is ultimately to credit.
"I've really seen my audience shift and I think we can honestly owe that to people like Taylor Swift, bringing so many eyes to the world of football and all sports," she continued. "It's been fun because I feel like I used to only get angry DMs from fantasy football guys, mad about their lineup or whatever."
"And now I get so many girls that are interested in what's going on in my life," Christen added, adding, "I think that's just been so fun to kind of see that transition."
It's been an interesting shift to witness, that's clear.
