Seattle Storm rookie Awa Fam had her moment against Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese with a massive block in their blowout win.
On Saturday, the Storm welcomed the visiting Dream in front of their home fans at Climate Pledge Arena.
One of the best moments during the game was when Seattle rookie center Fam denied Reese in the last two minutes of the second quarter.
Reese tried to beat Fam off the dribble and drove straight to the basket. But the 6-foot-4 center was quick on her feet and perfectly timed her jump for the massive block.
The No. 3 pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft even appeared to stare down Reese, who went down on the floor following the play. This hyped up Fam's teammates and the home crowd.

It was the lone block of Awa throughout the game, but it was a memorable one against one of the biggest stars in the league today.
Eventually, the Storm scored a lopsided win over the Dream with a 105-90 beating. Fam finished with 21 points, one rebound, one assist and one block.
Fam is putting up decent numbers in her rookie year with 11.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14 games so far.
The win also helped the squad notch its fifth win of the season. The Storm also record back-to-back wins after they defeated the powerhouse New York Liberty, 99-88, on Thursday.
This loss added to the woes of Reese and the Dream, who are now sitting on a three-game losing streak.
