Veteran sportscaster Stephan A. Smith clapped back at Jaylen Brown’s latest tirade and responded with a lengthy statement.
On Wednesday, Smith posted a video of his response, which contained a spicy rant against the 2024 NBA Finals MVP and Boston Celtics star.
“Getting on my last damn nerves, I ain't gonna lie,” Smith said. “I mean, he's so full of [expletive] I want to throw up. Suddenly, we're unethical because we're telling you how your comments came across.”
Brown’s enjoying his offseason with international trips, and Smith took the opportunity to throw shade at the Celtics guard-forward, claiming he doesn’t want any smoke.
“No wonder your [expletive] is in France,” Smith continued. “You can't deal with the heat here in America and justify the way that you've acted since you got bounced out of the playoffs. Nobody's done anything to you, Jaylen Brown.”

Smith and Brown’s rift began when the former commented on the latter’s statement during their first-round playoff exit this past season.
The five-time NBA All-Star and two-time All-NBA member claimed that the recently concluded season was his favorite despite bowing out of the postseason.
But Smith quickly reacted, claiming that Brown should stay away from such comments. Brown then retaliated by saying Smith should retire and even challenged him to a debate.
Brown took the brunt of Smith's ire when Smith called him the “face of clickbait media.”
This escalated the tension in the disagreement, and Smith finally accepted his challenge to a discussion.
“You're welcome to come on the show,” Smith stated. “I keep talking about that dungeon you're in. I'll show you what a studio's supposed to look like. I got one.”
The award-winning media personality is ready for the public dialogue, but he needs Brown’s cooperation to make it happen.
“You want to talk [expletive] about me?" continued the ESPN host. "You want to question my ethics or whatever? Name the time and place, bro.
"You can name the time, but not the place. We're going to do it on my set because I ain't coming to that dungeon. I'll be waiting. See you when I see you.”
It will now be very interesting to see what Brown has to say about Smith's latest tirade.
