Head coach Stephanie White was infuriated when a game official assessed Caitlin Clark a technical foul during the Indiana Fever's game against the Chicago Sky on Saturday. It was Clark's eighth tech of the season, which would have gotten her suspended in the team's next game.
Fortunately, the WNBA was quick to rescind the call after the contest, which means Clark won't have to miss Tuesday's game against the New York Liberty.
Now, speaking to reporters after the Fever's practice on Monday, White addressed the WNBA's quick action and expressed her delight that it was resolved.
"I mean, certainly, you know, I think that it was the right decision," White said, per Tony East of The IX Sports. "I was glad that they came to a decision quickly."

Why Did Caitlin Clark Get a Technical Foul?
To recall, Clark was assessed a technical foul late in the third quarter of the Fever-Sky game. It came after the All-Star guard hit a referee on the sideline after stumbling.
The referee apparently felt that Clark purposely ran into her, which the 24-year-old playmaker denied.
Video replays of the incident showed Clark unable to control her movement after bumping into Natasha Cloud while driving to the basket.
For what it's worth, several media and sports personalities called out the assessment, noting that it was not worthy of a technical foul.
Former NFL player Dez Bryant called it "straight [expletive]," while Dave Portnoy said it was an "insane disrespect."
Sports commentator Skip Bayless predicted that the tech would be rescinded considering how bad the call was.
