The Indiana Fever closed out their five-game road trip with a big win against the Chicago Sky on Sunday. The 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup champion dominated the home team, 113-90, at Wintrust Arena.
Caitlin Clark had a big game for the visitors, finishing with 37 points and 10 assists. Kelsey Mitchell amassed 30 points, four assists and two steals. The Fever’s dynamic duo led the way for Indiana, but they had plenty of help.
Lexie Hull chipped in 14 points while Makayla Timpson recorded a near double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Indiana had a big second half, leading as much as 25 points. The Fever also had the more efficient game, shooting 53.2% from the field and 54.5% from three.

Head coach Stephanie White spoke to reporters after her team ended their road trip with a dominant win. She praised her players amid this pivotal development.
“It’s huge, it’s really important,” White said. “You’re in the end of six and ten days, and (you’re) coming in playing a team that’s playing really great basketball.”
“For us to have that energy and that burst in the fourth quarter, I’m just really proud of our group.” the Fever coach added.
Indiana will return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for their next game, hosting the Connecticut Sun on Friday.
The Fever will then have a long break before playing their next game. They will go back up north on Sept. 19 to face the Toronto Tempo at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.
With only five games left in the regular season, the Fever are looking to enter the playoffs on a high note. Indiana’s last two games of the season will be against the Minnesota Lynx. It will be an excellent test to face the No. 1 seed twice before heading into the postseason.
The Fever improved to 25-14 after Sunday’s victory. They remain fifth in the standings.
