The Golden State Warriors have had a legendary run with Steph Curry, winning four championships, but it appears to be long over.
Golden State entered the 2026-27 season with a lot of questions. NBA insiders questioned the strength of the Warriors’ roster. Many doubted that the Warriors would be able to compete in a loaded Western Conference with their roster. Those doubters appear to be getting proven right.
The Warriors are 0-3 on the season, suffering losses to the Lakers, Grizzlies and Suns to start the year.
Golden State appears to be closer to getting the No. 1 overall pick in the 2027 NBA Draft than they are competing for another championship.

Steph Curry can’t be happy. While the Golden State Warriors star would love to remain with the franchise for the entirety of his career, the franchise is not putting a contender around him right now.
Curry’s family appears to have noticed.
Seth Curry, the brother of the Hall of Fame guard, is sounding off on the Warriors
Seth Curry called out the Warriors for starting a two-way player (a player who splits time between the NBA and the G League) at the start of the season.
“With all due respect to Ike. A 2-way starting for the dubs in game 2 is tough,” Seth wrote in a post on Threads.
Seth Curry, a longtime NBA guard, spent the 2025-26 season with the Warriors, but he only played in 10 games due to injury.
The Warriors missed the playoffs last season and do not appear to be any closer to making it this year.
