Sports fans around the country seem to be rallying around Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim this week.
Kim, a three-time Olympic medalist, became a superstar at the 2018 Winter Games when she won a gold medal in the halfpipe event. She then backed up that performance by capturing gold in the same event at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Earlier this week, she made headlines for revealing she was diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
“Actually, I recently found out I have ADHD,” Kim said. “For years, I was struggling. But once I finally opened up to my doctor, it was like everything suddenly clicked.”
The New York Post shared Kim’s diagnosis on Tuesday along with this headline: “Myles Garrett’s girlfriend Chloe Kim reveals life-changing diagnosis after ‘struggling’ for years.”
Judging by the responses online, sports fans had an issue with the New York Post referring to Kim as Myles Garrett’s deadline.

“Maybe this is nitpicky but “Myles Garrett’s girlfriend” being the headline about a 3-time Olympic medalist feels a little crazy, no? I’ll hang up and listen,” one person commented.
“She’s far more decorated than her boyfriend why is she being described as Myles Garrett’s girlfriend? Chloe Kim’s boyfriend hasn’t won a playoff game in 6 years,” a second person replied.
“Myles Garrett part of the article is so unnecessary lol, was literally about Chloe Kim finding out she has adhd,” another person wrote.
When did Chloe Kim and Myles Garrett start dating?
Garrett and Kim went public with their relationship in May 2025. Unsurprisingly, they’ve been supporting each other every step of the way.
“Her being from here and us being in the same city is obviously something that I love and appreciate,” Garrett told reporters after he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams.
Since Garrett has been sidelined with a knee injury, NFL fans haven’t seen Kim at SoFi Stadium yet. That could change in the coming weeks though.
