The Spanish national team qualified for the World Cup last year in the UEFA World Cup qualifiers by finishing first in their group with 16 points. Spain topped their group with a record of five wins, one draw, and zero losses.
Spain is among the favorites to win the 2026 World Cup due to their squad. In their previous match, Spain drew 2-2 with Turkiye at home, and their two goal scorers were Dani Olmo and Mikel Oyarzabal.

Serbia did not qualify for the 2026 World Cup after finishing third in their UEFA World Cup qualifiers.
Serbia had 13 points, but Albania advanced to the next round of the qualifiers as they finished with 14 points, and England topped the group with 24 points to qualify directly to the World Cup.
In their previous match, Serbia defeated Latvia 2-1 at home with goals from Aleksandar Katai and Aleksandar Stankovic.
