Sophie Cunningham has been a key contributor for the Indiana Fever in the 2026 season, averaging 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
In the Fever's most recent game against the Los Angeles Sparks, Cunningham came off the bench and recorded nine points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes of action.
Cunningham's best game so far for the Fever came just last month, in a June 16 showdown with the Toronto Tempo. She exploded for 24 points on 6-of-7 shooting from deep, while also recording six rebounds and two assists.
That performance was part of a remarkable four-game stretch for Cunningham, during which she averaged 15.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
However, Cunningham's availability was called into question earlier in the week after she missed the Fever's practices on Tuesday and Wednesday due to an undisclosed illness.

Is Sophie Cunningham Playing Today?
Cunningham returned to the Fever and joined the team's practice on Friday. Nonetheless, she admitted that while she's feeling better, she's not yet at 100%.
"I feel better. Just kind of waiting for my energy and this headache to kind of go away a little bit. But I'm here, and so that's great," Cunningham said after confirming to reporters that she was "rotting in bed" during her absence.
Fortunately for the Fever, it looks like Cunningham is all set to suit up when they play the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday.
In the team's injury report, only Caitlin Clark was listed, meaning that Indiana deems Cunningham healthy enough to play.
With Clark sidelined, Cunningham's presence will certainly be crucial. The Fever will need the offensive boost she provides off the bench if they want to beat an Aces team that has found a way to win even without A'ja Wilson.
