Some NFL fans didn’t like the outfit worn by Pilar Sanders at her son’s preseason game on Saturday.
Pilar Sanders, the ex-wife of Deion Sanders and the mother of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, “wowed” most fans with her outfit at her son’s game on Saturday afternoon. The Browns fell to the Bills, 31-7, in preseason game No. 2 on Saturday afternoon.
The outfit worn by Pilar Sanders, which can be seen in full here, sparked a lot of reactions on social media.
Most NFL fans seemed to like it.
“Wowowowowo,” one fan wrote.
“Stunning! So beautiful,” one fan added.
“Absolutely love to see this,” one added.
Not everyone loved it, though. Some accused the mom of the NFL quarterback of attention-seeking behavior and the outfit.
“I was embarrassed as a high school hockey goalie when my mom was shouting things. I can’t imagine being a professional QB and having your mother go viral like this,” one fan wrote.
“The Browns were the ONLY team that took a chance on him and if it wasn’t for them, he was going undrafted because of the circus that was going to come with him. This is EXACTLY why he fell,” one fan added.
“Inappropriate for an NFL mom,” one fan shared.
Shedeur Sanders, meanwhile, looks to stay above the fray
The Cleveland Browns quarterback is hoping to avoid distractions this fall and win the starting quarterback job for the AFC North team.
Deshaun Watson has probably looked better up until this point, but he got booed heavily by a lot of Cleveland’s fans throughout the game on Saturday afternoon.
If Browns fans are turning on Watson, that could open the door for Sanders to seize an opportunity and win the starting job.
The 2026 NFL regular season is less than a month away.
