James Rodriguez is back in Colombia’s World Cup plans, and fans are loving it. The Colombia national team star became one of the faces of the 2014 FIFA World Cup when he won the Golden Boot and carried his country with some unforgettable performances.
His career has had plenty of ups and downs since then, but Nestor Lorenzo’s decision to include him in Colombia’s squad has brought back a lot of excitement. For supporters, it is not just about nostalgia. It is the hope that James can still produce one more big tournament moment.
The news was confirmed on ESPN’s Soccer page and fans could not hide their excitement to see Rodriguez back on the big stage.
A fan said, “Rodriguez in World Cup is a different beast.”

“He needs to be given his flowers. A legend he is. He carries this team on his shoulders.”- commented a fan.
A fan proclaimed, “JAMES RODRIGUEZ is one player who always meets expectations when playing for Colombia.”
Stating that he still had a lot left in him a fan said, “Even now, his vision and passing still stand out.”
A fan pointed out, “James Rodriguez and Suarez are going to have their last dance at World Cup this summer.”
