Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James proved on Tuesday night that age is just a number. In Game 2 of the Purple and Gold's playoff series against the Houston Rockets, James put on a vintage performance to lead the team to a 101-94 victory.
In the absence of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, James finished with a game-high 28 points on 8-of-20 shooting. Furthermore, he recorded eight rebounds and seven assists, helping the Lakers lead by as many as 15 points.
James, who is already 41 years old, also had one of the best highlights of the game. In the third quarter, with L.A. leading 60-57, he received the ball near the 3-point line and quickly went past Kevin Durant.
The four-time MVP found a clear path to the basket and didn't hesitate to attack, throwing down a massive reverse windmill that sent fans to their feet.

The NBA even shared a slow-motion video of the thunderous jam, all while expressing disbelief.
Unsurprisingly, the video quickly trended online and drew plenty of reactions, with one fan even saying, "This man will be 42 in December and will still be doing the same thing."
"LeBron is a freak dude. it'll be a long time before we see someone as good as him again," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "LeBron is literally still the best player in the league."
"This man still owning KD in year 23," a follower added.
A fifth poster declared, "The Absolute Goat."
"1/1 type freak athlete. Won’t be another," a supporter stated.
James will need to keep playing at a high level to make sure the Lakers advance to the next round, especially since there's still no timeline on the return of Doncic and Reaves from their respective injuries.
If Game 2 is any indication, though, James is locked in and ready to lead the Lakers.
