Caitlin Clark produced plenty of highlights for the Indiana Fever during Sunday’s showdown with the Chicago Sky.
From slicing through the Sky defense to knocking down her signature step-back 3-pointers, Clark made life hard for Chicago early in the game. In the first half of the contest, she recorded 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting, along with two rebounds, six assists and one steal.
One of Clark’s best highlights, however, wasn’t a tough layup or a deep 3-pointer. Instead, it was a beautiful behind-the-back pass that fooled Sky guard DiJonai Carrington.
After Carrington, Kamilla Cardoso and Azura Stevens hounded Clark under the basket, trying to force a turnover, the Fever All-Star found Makayla Timpson unmarked nearby.

Clark quickly sent the ball to Timpson, passing it behind her and Carrington, for the easy floater. The Fever shared a slow-motion video of the play, hailing it the assist of the game.
Fans absolutely loved the play as well, with one fan even writing, “Beautiful.”
“This is why Fever needs to utilize their point guard. Caitlin is the best!” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “Triple teamed. No problem. Take this behind the back magic.”
“Carrington getting cooked,” a viewer stated.
“With 3 players surrounding her. Details matter,” a supporter shared.
A sixth poster simply noted, “Nice pass.”
“Best passer in the history of the league,” a follower declared. A social media user added, “Pure poetry. This reminded me so much of Magic Paula right here.”
