Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark propelled the Indiana Fever to a 99-89 victory over the Las Vegas Aces in Game 2 of their WNBA playoff series. The All-Star playmaker recorded 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting, along with seven rebounds and 15 assists.
Clark made history in the process, setting the franchise’s single-game record for assists in the playoffs. She also became the first WNBA player ever to record 25 points and 15 assists in a game in the postseason.
Sure enough, the 24-year-old guard had plenty of highlight plays during the contest, including an alley-oop pass to Kelsey Mitchell in the second quarter.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Clark had another incredible offensive sequence that also caught the attention of the Fever.
After a handoff from Aliyah Boston with 4:34 remaining in the final quarter, Clark dribbled the ball and appeared to be looking to pass the ball. However, since there was some distance between her and Wilson, the sharpshooter decided to take her signature stepback triple.
While Wilson tried to block her, she couldn’t make it in time. Clark made the triple and gave Indiana the 90-79 lead.
Indiana shared a slow-motion video of the play and called Clark’s triple a “work of art.”
Clark made a total of five triples in the contest, with her shot over Wilson being her last one before she fouled out.
Indiana and Las Vegas now head to a do-or-die Game 3 in Las Vegas. The game is set for Thursday.
Fans can expect Clark to deliver more highlight-reel worthy plays as she looks to send the Fever to the semifinals.
