The Dallas Cowboys secured a 34-30 win over the Houston Texans in their Week 4 showdown, with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb playing a crucial role. His standout performance has led to Skip Bayless dropping major praise for him.
After their Week 3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil, the Cowboys entered Week 4 needing a strong performance to steer their season back in the right direction. Lamb stepped up for Dallas by recording a career-high 17 catches and 189 yards against the Texans.
Lamb also had one touchdown, which was the most important score of the game. The 27-year-old WR made a 12-yard touchdown catch with 40 seconds left to give Dallas the lead and eventually the win.
With his performance, Lamb became only the fourth player to record at least 17 receptions, 185 yards and one touchdown in a single game, joining Tom Fears, Terrell Owens and Brandon Marshall.

After the Cowboys’ win, Bayless shared his thoughts about Lamb and explained why he’s the “best receiver” in the NFL right now.
“The Dallas Cowboys turned their season around because of CeeDee,” Bayless wrote. “Lamb, who played like a lion today, against that defense in Houston, he took it over because he’s the best receiver in football. I’ve said it for the last five years.”
Lamb’s performance helped the Cowboys improve to a 2-2 record. They are now set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5 on Thursday Night Football.
After the Buccaneers game, the Cowboys will head to Lambeau Field to play the Green Bay Packers in Week 6.
