Popular sports commentator Skip Bayless has high praise for Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese, but he also couldn't help but point out the issues in their games.

Before the Fever-Dream matchup on Sunday, Bayless called Clark the "best passer" in the WNBA. Entering the contest, she led the league in assists with 8.3 dimes per game. In the Fever's showdown against the Dallas Wings on Friday as well, the All-Star guard dished out 10 assists while scoring 29 points.

However, Bayless highlighted that Clark leads the league in turnovers. He also shared how Clark's Fever teammates waste a lot of her great passes, noting she could be averaging more assists if not for them.

"Caitlin Clark is by far the W's best passer - best ever in the W," Bayless wrote. "Every game 3-4 of her passes are so stunning teammates aren't ready, can't convert. Last night egregious: Could've had 20 assts. CC also leads by far in turnovers. Passes can be high risk, intercepted or dropped."

As for Reese, Bayless stated that the Dream star is on her way to becoming the league's greatest rebounder. She leads the league in rebounding this season, although Bayless couldn't help but notice how her rebounding is benefitting from some of her missed shots.

"Angel Reese, who has made 3 straight All-Star teams, is on the way to becoming the greatest WNBA rebounder ever," Bayless added. "She's leading the league in rebounding - but also in badly blown layups. Never seen anything like her lack of control at the rim. Can make you laugh or wince."

To be fair, there is some truth to what Bayless is saying. Clark's turnover rate has been one of her biggest problems ever since she arrived in the league in 2024, while Reese has often been criticized for what many call "mebounds" or rebounds from her own missed shots.

Regardless, the two have been thriving with their respective teams, as both the Fever and Dream are on track to make the playoffs.
