WNBA star Caitlin Clark had another remarkable showing, as she helped the Indiana Fever defeat the Seattle Storm 105-95 during Tuesday's game at Climate Pledge Arena.
Clark finished with a team-high 32 points on 9-of-14 shooting, along with four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block. She was particularly sensational in the third quarter, scoring 16 of the team's 18 points.
The three-time All-Star's performance helped ensure the Fever stayed ahead entering the fourth quarter, when Kelsey Mitchell took over to propel the team to its fourth straight win.
During the game, veteran sports commentator Skip Bayless was naturally impressed by Clark's scoring display. In particular, he noticed how the 24-year-old playmaker was more aggressive when attacking the basket, which made her an even more lethal offensive weapon.
"Caitlin Clark is finally regaining her deep-3 confidence ... plus more than ever she's putting her head down and driving through contact ... which is making her extremely difficult to guard," Bayless said of Clark's play.

Bayless' assessment is supported by the stats. In the Fever's past four games, Clark has averaged 30.3 points on 55.9% shooting. Because she's attacking the basket more, her average free throw makes have increased to 9.5 per game on 10 attempts. Before that, she was averaging 4.7 makes on 5.5 free throw attempts.
In the Fever's July 17 game against the Storm, Clark finished with 45 points and 10 assists. She had 19 free throw attempts and made 17 of them.
Clearly, Clark has figured out how to make the most of her skill set. It will be interesting to see if she can maintain this elite production, but so far, her performance has been encouraging.
