Dak Prescott has been with the Dallas Cowboys for 10 years now. He was the 135th overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback quickly impressed in his rookie season. He threw for 3,667 yards for 311 completions and 23 touchdowns. Prescott was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and was already selected for the Pro Bowl that season.
After a decade as Dallas' cornerstone quarterback, however, he has yet to lead the Cowboys to Super Bowl glory. Dallas has missed the playoffs the past two years. The storied franchise last won the Super Bowl in the 1995 season, when they faced the Pittsburgh Steelers.
For the 2026 NFL season, the Cowboys will hold their training camp at Oxnard, California. Prescott arrived at the team hotel on Monday wearing a Super Bowl XXX shirt to commemorate their last championship.
Sports analyst Skip Bayless called out Prescott's decision to wear a Cowboys Super Bowl shirt.
“The Cowboys have convinced themselves they're a SBowl (Super Bowl) team,” Bayless posted on X on Wednesday. “Dak, 33, arrived at camp wearing a T-shirt celebrating the last Dallas SBowl 30 yrs ago. He's 2-5 in playoffs.”
On top of that, Bayless also took a dig at Cowboys defensive coordinator Christian Parker.
“Christian Parker, 34, is being hailed as the savior - the next great DC," the sports analyst added. "He's never called 1 defensive snap.”
Dallas is looking to bounce back from back-to-back tumultuous seasons. They have failed to win more than seven games in the last two years, and it does not appear that Bayless is expecting them to fare much better this season.
