Shai Gilgeous-Alexander became an Audemars Piguet Friend of the Brand in February. In a new promo video, the Oklahoma City Thunder star showed off some of his impressive -- and very expensive -- watch collection.

In a video with his new partnership, the NBA MVP shared how his style influences his game.

"My style is always evolving. The games that I perform my best in, I'm very excited about my outfit before the game," he shared in the Audemars Piguet video on social media.

"The watch I'm wearing is a Royal Oak," he says before going into detail about what he likes about the watch. "I really like the ceramics. It's not shiny, I would say it's like a silent killer."

He then shows off a gold watch where he says he gifted to his wife, Hailey Summers, adding that she "couldn't hold the excitement" when it was presented to her.

Shai then revealed another gold watch of his own that he wore before the ESPYS. He was awarded the Best Athlete -- Men's Sports in 2025.

The NBA point guard said, "This was the award before the award," referring to the timepiece, noting that it was a Christmas gift that he treated himself to.

SGA's love of watches began way before his partnership with Audemars Piguet. Last season, he shared his love for timepieces by gifting his teammates Rolexes following their championship win.

The watch models he gifted his teammates were the:

  • Sea-Dweller in Oystersteel and yellow gold, with a Cerachrom bezel insert in black ceramic (value: $20,300)
  • Datejust 36 with an Oystersteel and yellow gold bracelet (value: $15,000)
  • Sky-Dweller with Oyster steel and white gold (value: $17,950)
  • Submariner Date with a royal-blue dial and Oystersteel and yellow-gold case (value: $18,900)

Alongside the gifts, he also thanked his teammates in his MVP speech.

“I can’t say enough how much you guys mean to me, and not only as a basketball player, but as family,” Shai said in his MVP acceptance speech, via Complex.

“I know you guys know that we do everything together, on and off the court, we do shopping, we eat. You guys are really like my brothers. ... Without you guys, none of this would be possible. I want you guys to know that this award is your award, too.”
