As the loud minority continues to voice it's displeasure with Bad Bunny's upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance in the name of "patriotism," several bars in one of the nation's most popular cities will reportedly not be airing the show for their patrons.

The NFL has received quite a bit of blowback from the more right-leaning segments of its audience in response to platforming one of the most popular musicians on the globe — almost entirely because of his Puerto Rican heritage and Spanish-speaking songs.

And while that hasn't stopped him from becoming one of the most listened-to artists in the world, it has drawn the ire of at least a handful of Nashville bars in the lead-up to the big game.

Several Nashville bars planning to air Turning Point USA alternative halftime show

According to a report from The Tennessean, a select amount of bars in the city's entertainment district have vowed to change the channel when it comes time for Bad Bunny to take the Super Bowl 60 stage.

Those bars include Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Steakhouse, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Honky Tonk Central, Rippy’s Honky Tonk and The Diner.

Kid Rock is scheduled to perform at the Turning Point USA event which is being billed as “an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom.”

However, it remains to be seen if he'll be performing his 2001 song “Cool, Daddy Cool” which boasts the lyrics: “Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage see / Some say that’s statutory, but I say it’s mandatory.”

Roger Goodell defends Bad Bunny halftime pick

During his Super Bowl press conference earlier this week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell defended the league's selection of Bad Bunny for SB LX.

Saying, “Bad Bunny, and I think that was demonstrated last night, was one of the greatest artists in the world. And it’s one of the reasons we chose him. The other reason is he understood the platform he was on. This platform is used to unite people … and I think artists in the past have done that. Bad Bunny understands that and I think he’ll have a great show.”

The TPUSA alternate show will be available to stream live on YouTube, X and Rumble for those who would rather watch a rich kid from Detroit cosplay as a down-home southern conservative. It will also feature performances from Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
