The Seattle Seahawks have not had the best injury luck to start the 2026 season.
The secondary, in particular, has been banged up. In Week 3, the team had to play without both starting safeties, as Ty Okada and Julian Love both missed. In fact, Okada has yet to make his 2026 debut, and his absence is really starting to be felt.
The Seahawks have a lengthy injury report this week. Several starters and key rotational pieces are banged up, so let’s see what we found out on Thursday.

The following players were listed on Thursday’s report:
- Nick Emmanwori- Ankle- Full
- George Holani- Rib- Limited
- Julian Love- Calf- Limited
- Ty Okada- Hamstring- Limited
- Brandon Pili- Neck- Full
- Jadarian Price– Chest- DNP
- Jarran Reed- Foot- Full
- Rashid Shaheed- Hip- Full
- Leonard Williams- Rest- Full
- Grey Zabel- Groin- Full
- Zach Charbonnet- Knee- Limited
Well, this report is full of good news, actually.
The Seahawks only had one player, Jadarian Price, who was unable to practice on Thursday. Jarran Reed, Leonard Williams, and Grey Zabel were all full participants after being limited on Wednesday, so it’s fair to assume they’ll be ready to go.
Perhaps most importantly, Okada was finally able to participate for the first. Granted, the safety was limited, but at least he was able to do some work. Okada worked on the side and had a jersey on for the first time since before Week 1.
This tells me that Okada might not play this week, but he’ll definitely play next week.
Fellow starting safety Julian Love was also limited, but he told the media he expects to play.
The Seahawks’ secondary did not look good with both Okada and Love out in Week 3, so having either back will be a big boost. Love already has two interceptions on the season.
The bad news is that Jadarian Price was downgraded. The rookie was limited on Wednesday, but was unable to participate at all on Thursday. That’s not ideal, and could indicate that something was tweaked.
Even if Price gets healthy, he’s trending backwards after being benched briefly in Week 3. Backup George Holani is also limited, so depth could be a concern at the running back spot.
Speaking of running backs, Zach Charbonnet was designated to return. The running back has been on the PUP list since before Week 1, and now the team has 21 days to put him on the active roster.
