The Seattle Seahawks have announced a major Super Bowl 60 injury update on Thursday afternoon.
Seattle, the NFC champions, are set to take on New England in Super Bowl 60 on Sunday evening. The game will kick off at 6 p.m. E.T. The Seahawks are heading into the game as sizable favorites, with most experts picking Seattle to take down New England in the big contest.
But Seattle had reason for concern earlier this week. Seahawks defensive back Nick Emmanwori suffered an injury at practice. Will he be able to play on Sunday evening?

Emmanwori is one of the key players in Seattle's defense. He plays a huge role in the secondary, which is one of the Seahawks' strong points.
If he can't go on Sunday, it would be a big loss.
But it sounds like he'll be able to.
The Seahawks announced his injury status on Thursday
Seahawks head coach Mike MacDonald announced on Thursday that the standout defensive back is 100 percent playing on Sunday.
"Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald told reporters that S Nick Emmanwori suffered a low-ankle sprain Wednesday, but he is “confident” that he will play in Sunday’s Super Bowl," Adam Schefter shared.
The question, of course, is will Emmanwori be at 100 percent for the game?
It's the big question.
Kickoff on Sunday night is set for 6 p.m. E.T. The game will air on NBC.
