The Seattle Seahawks are not a team that has a ton of roster holes.
That’s to be expected considering they just won the Super Bowl. This team has its quarterback, an elite defense, and an elite weapon. If the team is picking at the end of the first round again, they will likely be in position to take the best player available.
If there’s one area of concern, it could be the pass-catchers. The Seahawks do have the best receiver in football in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but who else scares you? This team needs another receiver to take some of the load off.
Fortunately, that’s exactly what happens in a new mock draft.
Latest Mock has Seahawks Taking Reed Harris in 2027 First Round

Mike Renner of CBS Sports recently put out an updated 2027 mock.
In Renner’s mock, the Seahawks select Arizona State receiver Reed Harris with the No. 28 pick of the first round.
Harris has played in three games so far in 2026 and has 19 catches for 374 yards. Harris currently leads the Big 12 with five touchdown catches.
“Harris is another massive wide receiver at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds who can really run routes,” said Renner. “He’s added more layers to his game after only hauling in 39 passes for 673 yards last season at Boston College before transferring.”
As Renner mentioned, Harris is a big-bodied receiver who runs great routes. The receiver offers a rare combination of size and speed, so he could be a perfect running mate for Smith-Njigba.
Harris spent the first three seasons of his college career at Boston College. In 2025, Harris caught 39 passes for 673 yards and five touchdowns. The receiver jumped in the portal after the impressive season and was prioritized by Arizona State.
Harris has had no problem adjusting to the Big 12, and he’s working his way into first-round projections.
Wide Receiver Could be Big Need For Seahawks

It’s not hard to see that the Seahawks could use another reliable weapon.
Smith-Njigba already has 27 catches this season- nobody else on the roster has even nine yet. Cooper Kupp, the team’s WR2, has eight catches for 101 yards. Kupp has been a great receiver in the past, but it’s clear the team needs a more reliable WR2 going forward.
