Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for NFL fans to speculate about next year's halftime show for Super Bowl 61.
Bad Bunny headlined the Super Bowl 60 halftime show at Levi's Stadium, performing hit songs such as "DTMF" and "Titi Me Pregunto." He finished his performance by shouting all the countries in North and South America. As he was heading into the tunnel, the big screen at the stadium had this message powerful message on it: "The only thing more powerful than hate is love."
NBC has not yet shared the official ratings for Bad Bunny's halftime show. YouTube, however, revealed that his performance is the most-viewed Apple Music Halftime Show within 48 hours.
"Bad Bunny is, and I think that was demonstrated last night, one of the great artists in the world and that’s one of the reasons we chose him," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said prior to the Grammy Award winner's performance. "But the other reason is he understood the platform he was on and this platform is used to unite people and to be able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents and to be able to use this moment to do that and I think artists in the past have done that."

Bad Bunny will be a tough act to follow up for Super Bowl 61, there's no question about it. So who's on track to perform at SoFi Stadium? According to a social media account by the name of "Icon Pop News," the trio of Karol G, Camila Cabello and Becky G are in talks to perform in Los Angeles.
However, this isn't viewed as a legitimate report at this time. Most people believe this is just a rumor designed to rack up engagements on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
For what it's worth, Karol G headlined the NFL's halftime show for its 2025 regular-season game Brazil.
"I'm so excited to be part of YouTube's first-ever NFL live broadcast, it's truly an honor and a moment I'm so proud to be part of," she said, via NFL.com. "I've watched many NFL halftime shows over the years and now having this opportunity to bring my music to this global stage means the world to me. I can't wait to celebrate with everyone in São Paulo and fans all around the world."
Who will perform at the Super Bowl?
As of this week, FanDuel has Miley Cyrus and Cardi B as the top options for the Super Bowl halftime show at SoFi Stadium.
Of course, we can't rule out Taylor Swift rocking the stage for Super Bowl 61. She's been on Goodell's radar for the past few years.
“We would always love to have Taylor play,” Goodell said in September 2025. “She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time.”
The NFL is expected to announce its Super Bowl 61 halftime performer in the fall.
