Prayers are pouring in for a U.S. rodeo star and her family following a horrific loss this weekend.
U.S. rodeo star Kelsie Domer and her husband Ryan are mourning the loss of their 3-year-old daughter, Oaklynn Rae. The young daughter of the U.S. rodeo star died in a horrific accident on Thursday, February 19. She was killed in a "freak" accident.
The 3-year-old died when a horse fell onto the toddler and her mom, Kelsie, according to Rodeo Life.
"Oaklynn packed a lot in her short time with us. Traveling the rodeo circuit all over the US, hitting the practice pen with mom and dad, and loving her family with all her heart. She loved frogs, horses, everybody’s puppies, going to 'yodeos,' and hanging out with all her friends. She did not know a stranger and lit up the room the minute she made her grand entrance," her obituary read.
"Preceding her in death were Great Grandma Glennis Porter, Great Grandad & Grandma Bill & Shirely Chace, and Great Grandad & Grandma Maurice and Ann Minihan."
Kelsie, a 10-time Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) world champion, is one of the top athletes in her sport.
Fans are sending their well wishes to the family.
