The Tennessee Titans wrapped up a joint practice on Tuesday after traveling to San Francisco to compete against the 49ers just days before they play against the franchise in a preseason game. This will be the first game that fans will get the chance to see the new additions and the new jerseys live in action.
Following what many would label as a positive joint practice, the Titans head football coach Robert Saleh would confirm that everyone will be active and will play against the 49ers during the game on Thursday. He also explained that there will be more than one series for the starters.

This is something that comes with what Saleh has stated in the past, along with some of the players. When a player like Cam Ward is stating that he is willing to run the wide receivers into the ground just to get better, it is safe to say that the best chance to do so is going to be playing against players they don't see in an everyday environment.

There are many positives and negatives when it comes to the starters playing in this contest. The biggest positive is the fact that some of these players will be receiving some much-needed reps facing a different defense, while also learning more of the offensive scheme when facing unfamiliar territory. However, the biggest negative to this is the fact that there is an injury risk. If Cam Ward were to go down with an injury due to playing in a game that doesn't count towards the playoffs or even the overall record, Saleh would likely hold some regret entering the season, which means this team would already begin on a downhill slope.
When it comes to where the fans will stand, most of them will be happy, as they will get to see the likes of Carnell Tate, Alontae Taylor, and recently extended left guard Peter Skoronski ahead of the regular season.
