Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson has been considered the MVP favorite for most of the season, which is not surprising since she leads the league in scoring (25.9) and in blocks (2.1).
However, if you ask former NFL star Robert Griffin III right now, his choice is different. According to Griffin, he has Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark leading the MVP race.

Griffin shared his opinion on social media following Clark's performance against the Dallas Wings. In the game, the three-time All-Star recorded 29 points, three rebounds, 10 assists and one steal to lead Indiana to a 98-87 victory.

It was Clark's 20th career game with a 20-point, 10-assist performance, which is the most in WNBA history. No other player has more than 10 such games.
Clark improved her season averages to 21.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.0 steal per game. She is third in the league in scoring and first in assists. If she's able to maintain that production, she would be the first WNBA player ever to lead the league in assists while ranking in the top three in scoring.
For what it's worth, many others still consider Wilson the frontrunner for the award. There has been a lot of buzz around Miles and her candidacy for MVP as well. Whatever the case may be, though, there's no denying that Clark is strengthening her case to compete for the league's highest individual honor as the season enters its final stretch of games.
