The wrestling world is mourning the loss of PAC.
All Elite Wrestling announced Sunday that Benjamin Satterley, known to wrestling fans as PAC and formerly Neville in WWE, has died at 40.
The news is particularly difficult to process because PAC wrestled just one night earlier at AEW All Out in Chicago, facing Andrade El Idolo in what would become his final match.
Within minutes of AEW announcing his death, wrestlers and others across the industry began sharing their shock, memories and condolences for Satterley.

Wrestling Stars Pay Tribute to PAC
Rhea Ripley was among the major WWE stars to react, calling Sunday a “tragic day” and remembering PAC as an “extremely talented person.”
Paul Heyman’s reaction captured the disbelief surrounding the news.
“Oh no. No no no no no no no,” Heyman wrote before remembering PAC as a “tremendous talent and even finer human being.”
Current AEW World Champion Will Ospreay offered one of the most emotional tributes, remembering PAC as a hero and expressing his gratitude for having the opportunity to share the ring with him.
Danhausen gave fans a glimpse at how Satterley was regarded away from the cameras, calling PAC “one of the kindest, most welcoming people in a locker room.”
Kyle Fletcher’s tribute was especially personal. Fletcher called PAC one of his favorite wrestlers of all time and said he had been fortunate enough to meet his hero, work alongside him and eventually get to know him personally.
“He was a better man than I ever could have hoped for,” Fletcher wrote. “I am heartbroken.”
Swerve Strickland needed only a few words to convey his reaction to the news: “I cant man….”
Matt Hardy also expressed his shock over PAC’s death and paid tribute to his former AEW colleague.
PAC was widely regarded by fans as one of the most gifted wrestlers of his generation. Those who actually shared locker rooms and rings with Benjamin Satterley are remembering the person behind the performer just as strongly.
My condolences go out to his family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him.
