The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly looking to get Peyton Manning on the Matt Ryan track.
After seeing the success of the former league MVP in Atlanta, and firing GM Chris Ballard on Monday, the Colts are now eyeing Manning as the new leader of the team’s front office.
Manning is one of the greatest QBs of all-time and maintains a relationship with his former franchise despite finishing his career in Denver.
However, it remains to be seen if the Hall of Famer has any interest in working in such a capacity with all of his other post-football ventures.

Peyton Manning to be ‘first call’ for Colts GM opening
According to “Not So Fast” host Andrew Perloff (via the “Dan Patrick Show”), there are rumblings out of Indy that Peyton will be Carlie Irsay-Gordon‘s “first call” after moving on from Ballard.
“Oooh, Dan Patrick just said that he got information that we should expect that the Colts’ first call will be to Peyton Manning for advice and possibly to bring him in as the next GM,” Perloff shared.
Fans gave their thoughts on the idea of Manning potentially joining the Colts’ front office to start the week:
“Remember when they made Jeff Saturday a coach,” Arif Hasan said.
“Advice? Sure, but why on earth would he come back here to be a general manager?” a user asked.
“They saw Andrew Luck’s performance at Stanford and decided they had to get in the game,” a fan replied.
“Get ready for Arch to go to IU in 2027, Colts hire Peyton as GM, then go all in for Arch in 2028,” another user speculated.
“Kinda curious whether Manning would have any interest in being an NFL GM,” Sam Monson commented.
“i suspect he would rather make a lot of money to do relatively little,” another person posed.
Peyton certainly has the football mind to be successful in a role like GM. But is the idea intriguing enough for him to his work at Omaha Productions on hold?
