The Dallas Cowboys will head over to Brazil for a home game during the 2026 season. All that's left to figure out is who'll be their opponent.
It was announced in February that one of the Cowboys' nine home games will be played at Maracaña Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. The historic venue, which holds more than 78,000, should be rocking once "America's Team" shows up to town.
"I look to where our fans are," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. "I'm excited about the Cowboys fans that we have in Brazil. I'm excited about the country of Brazil. I have a lot of business in Brazil. I have a lot of respect [for Brazil], and to be able to take our team, take the Cowboys down there and be a part of their sports is a big deal."
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott added, "Being 10 years in the league and I hadn't played an international game, I'm excited for the travel."

On April 1, Giana Han of The Baltimore Banner provided an update on the Cowboys' trip to Brazil.
Han is reporting that Dallas will take on the Baltimore Ravens at Maracaña Stadium. This international game is expected to occur in Week 3 of the regular season.
The NFL has not yet confirmed this showdown between the Cowboys and Ravens. The official schedule will be released in May.
Fans react to this matchup.
Unsurprisingly, the responses to this report from The Baltimore Banner were all over the place.
"Nobody wants to play in Brazil man, the NFL is a total joke," one fan declared.
"Not sure if this is true since it's April Fools but if true I wouldn't mind," a second fan replied to the news.
"Sending Lamar's immune system down to Brazil is a CHOICE," another fan commented.
"I'm so jealous of the people who'll get to see this game in person," a social media user wrote. "It's gonna be awesome."
If the NFL wants to expand its global reach, sending Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott to Brazil is a smart strategy.
At the very least, this rumored game between the Cowboys and Ravens should feature some explosive plays.
