Angel Reese followed a huge WNBA Finals performance with a major off-court development.
On Monday night, Reese led the Atlanta Dream to a Game 2 victory over the Golden State Valkyries with 30 points and 16 rebounds. The championship series, which could end in a winner-take-all Game 5 on Halloween, returns to Atlanta tied at 1-1.
Perhaps it’s only fitting that Reebok revealed a sweet treat for Reese fans on Tuesday. The company released a new line of Reese signature sneakers in collaboration with Reese’s.
The new shoes, sold for $160 in unisex sizes and $130 in kid sizes, resemble the popular candy with a brown, orange, and yellow color scheme. The tongue flap features a Reese’s logo, and they’re sold in a special orange shoebox.
“The Reese’s x Reebok Angel Reese 1 brings Angel’s unapologetic style and dominant on-court energy to a bold collaborative colorway inspired by the iconic candy brand,” Reebok’s website says. “Rich chocolate and peanut butter tones collide with performance-driven design details built for today’s versatile game. They’re a bold fusion of performance innovation and expressive design, built to match Angel’s dynamic on-court dominance and culture-driving presence off it. Engineered to support Angel’s relentless energy in the game and built to inspire and impress, these basketball shoes balance ethereal aesthetics with elite-level performance.”
Reese leads Dream to WNBA Finals

Reese has much more going on than a fitting brand collaboration. The 24-year-old will attempt to steer the Dream to their first-ever championship.
Atlanta followed a 30-14 season by sweeping the Washington Mystics and New York Liberty en route to the WNBA Finals. However, the Dream faced their first postseason setback when they lost a Game 1 defensive stalemate, 68-64, on Saturday.
Reese responded by making 10 of 16 field goals and nine of 11 free throws in Game 2. Atlanta’s defense stymied Golden State starters to 32 combined points on Monday night.
Maybe Reese had her new Reese’s sneakers in mind as she reflected on Atlanta’s bounce-back win.
“I was hungry,” Reese said after Monday’s win, per ESPN’s Michael Voepel. “I think we let one slip away [Saturday]. You can’t do that. We all came together and were pissed. We felt disappointed, we felt embarrassed. I walked off the court not feeling like myself, and I wanted to make sure that this game, I did everything I could do to walk off the court and feel like who I am.”
Game 3 starts Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network and Peacock.
