Real Salt Lake are winless in their last 8 MLS matches, and their last win was back in May when they defeated the Colorado Rapids 2-1 at home.
LAFC are winless in their last five MLS games, and their last win was in July when they defeated Sporting KC 4-0 at home.
Today will be the second time the two teams face off this season, and in the previous matchup, LAFC defeated Real Salt Lake 3-1. The last time Real Salt Lake hosted LAFC at America First Field, LAFC won 4-1 with a hat trick from Son Heung-Min.
