Former NFL star Randy Moss is demanding a change to the Pro Football Hall of Fame voting process in the wake of Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft's snubbings.
Neither Belichick nor Kraft made the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year. They each failed to receive the necessary 40 of 50 votes on the ballot. In the wake of their snubbing, fans are demanding some changes.
Moss, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, made it clear that he thinks only players and coaches should get to vote.
"If you didn't play it, if you didn't coach it, you shouldn't have a vote," he said on Sunday NFL Countdown on Sunday morning.
It's a logical point, but we've seen in sports across the world...this doesn't work.
Look at the NBA and their All-Star Game voting. The players do not take it seriously. Bronny James received multiple NBA All-Star Game votes this year. Damian Lillard, who is out for the entire season, also received some votes.
It's laughable.
Players and coaches have not proven to be better at doing this than the media.

"This is an insane take. Plenty of former players and coaches get it wrong, have poor evaluations, etc," one fan wrote.
"Can’t satisfy who everyone wanted to be on the Hall of Fame. Those who made it deserved it. Good luck to those who didn’t make the list this year," one fan added.
"Former players are always the least educated voters in these scenarios. I guarantee it wasn't random media members who kept them out," one fan added.
"That’s the whole point, Randy. Otherwise it’s just a cool kids club, which clearly you favor. Take the bias out of it. They’ll get in, there’s no reason to be angry that they didn’t get in this year. Nobody will remember when they were inducted five years from now," one fan added.
