The Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills have released their inactives ahead of the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on “Monday Night Football,” and the biggest names on the final injury report have their answers.
Defensive tackle Aaron Donald is active after a back injury kept him out of last week’s 24-20 comeback win in Philadelphia. “My back feels good. A lot better than it was. I feel great right now,” Donald said ahead of Monday.
Safety Quentin Lake, the only Ram listed as questionable, is also active after dealing with a hip injury. Cornerback Jaylen Watson and tight end Colby Parkinson were cleared to play as well.
None of the Rams’ five inactives carried a game status on Saturday. Wide receiver C.J. Daniels Jr., defensive end Larrell Murchison, offensive lineman Bill Murray and tight end Max Klare are healthy scratches, and Ty Simpson is the emergency third quarterback.
Buffalo’s list is much more significant. Wide receivers DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, defensive lineman Landon Jackson and cornerback Dee Alford are all out. The Bills elevated Trent Sherfield Sr. and Phidarian Mathis from the practice squad and signed cornerback Anthony Kendall to the 53-man roster.
Here is who won’t suit up in Inglewood tonight.
Los Angeles Rams inactives
- WR C.J. Daniels Jr.
- QB Ty Simpson (emergency 3rd QB)
- DE Larrell Murchison
- OL Bill Murray
- TE Max Klare
Buffalo Bills inactives
- WR DJ Moore
- WR Joshua Palmer
- CB Dee Alford
- G Ar’maj Reed-Adams
- T/G Jude Bowry
- DL Ed Oliver
- DL Landon Jackson
Aaron Donald returns to face Josh Allen
The Rams got by without Donald last week because Byron Young had 2.5 sacks against the Eagles. Getting Donald back gives Los Angeles its full front against Josh Allen.
Ball security is the other key for both sides. The Rams have had multiple giveaways in all four games, and the Bills have seven giveaways in their last two games, including last week’s home loss to the New England Patriots.
Puka Nacua gets a thinner Bills secondary
Puka Nacua is coming off nine catches for 125 yards and a 2-yard rushing touchdown in Philadelphia. It was his 12th straight regular-season game with at least five receptions.
“He’s like Pac-Man. He just kind of eats up yards,” head coach Sean McVay said of Nacua.
Nacua had 12 catches for 162 yards the last time these teams met, a 44-42 Rams win in 2024. Alford’s absence leaves Buffalo thinner at cornerback for the rematch.
The Rams are 2-2, and the Bills are 3-1. The game airs on ESPN and ABC.
