The Las Vegas Raiders hosted the Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday afternoon, in a battle of undefeated teams.
The Chiefs got the best of the Raiders on Sunday, improving to 4-0 on the season, while the Raiders dropped to 3-1.
But while the Chiefs won on the field, one Raiders fan is losing off of it, for the “classless” Taylor Swift sign that he had in the stands.
The sign took a shot at Taylor Swift’s appearance. The sign claimed that Swift is a “6” on the ratings scale.
“Scores 6s On & Off The Field,” the sign read.
NFL fans were quick to criticize it
“That sign must have taken him all night,” one fan wrote.
“I’m a Raiders fan, but that’s classless,” one fan added.
“She’s literally an 8 or a 9,” one fan added.
“All while you’re sitting on the sidelines and she’s literally in the suites,” one fan added.
“I’m a Raider fan but this is stupid. 🙄,” one fan added.
Swift was not in attendance at Sunday’s game, and maybe that was for the best, considering how the Raiders fans likely would have treated her.
Patrick Mahomes did have major praise for the Raiders, though
“That’s a good football team,” Mahomes told reporters postgame. “First off, defensively, they got a lot of veteran guys that came over to add to the talent they had. The D-line, the linebackers, and then the secondary all were playing together and really getting us off the field a lot of the time. We had some explosive plays there, especially toward the end, that really helped us. But that’s a really good football team.”
The Chiefs and the Raiders will meet again later this season, with the second game taking place at Arrowhead Stadium, likely with Swift in attendance.
