Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins missed each of the joint practice sessions against the Buffalo Bills, and it appears unlikely he’ll be able to suit up for Saturday’s preseason game at 1:00 p.m. ET at Huntington Bank Field against the Bills.
Head coach Todd Monken said that he doesn’t anticipate that the team’s veteran starters will be available. And, while Judkins is not considered a veteran, he is also unlikely to go, as he is dealing with “a little something nagging, nothing big.”
Cedric Tillman, Carson Schwesinger Unlikely to Play Saturday

Wide receiver Cedric Tillman, who did not suit up in the preseason opener, has been missing from practice this week due to an undisclosed injury. He has played three underwhelming seasons for the Browns, and he appears to be in danger of failing to make the 53-man roster. Not being able to practice or play in the preseason isn’t helping his cause.
Tillman was already put on blast by Browns management when the team drafted KC Concepcion in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and they followed that up by plucking Denzel Boston in the second round.
The Browns also have Jerry Jeudy in the mix, and they brought in receiver and return specialist Tylan Wallace. It’s likely that Gage Larvadain and Malachi Corley, useful players due to their ability on special teams and/or the return game, are also going to make this roster. That likely means that Tillman is battling Isaiah Bend and Kole Wilson, trying to avoid the chopping block.
As far as the linebacker Schwesinger, he has also been unable to practice this week. The dynamic linebacker, arguably the best player on defense after the offseason trade of Myles Garrett, has been sidelined due to an undisclosed injury. The team is reportedly being cautious with him, according to The Chronicle-Telegram’s Scott Petrak. Schwesinger missed multiple weeks last season due to a high-ankle sprain, and the defense spiraled a bit in his absence.
In addition to Judkins, Schwesinger and Tillman, Parker Brailsford, Michael Burton, Kalia Davis and Joe Royer have also missed the week of practice, so don’t expect to see them suit up against the Bills, either.
The good news is that defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was able to practice for the first time since Aug. 1, but it’s unlikely he’ll play after returning from a multi-week absence. The team is likely to play it safe.
