Projecting the Tennessee Titans' 53-Man Roster Following Win vs. 49ers

The Tennessee Titans are on track for their second preseason game following a victory against the 49ers. Following the win against the 49ers, here is how I project the 53-man roster.

Offense

Quarterbacks (2): Cam Ward, Mitchell Trubisky. In my opinion, the Titans should consider moving Will Levis. In order to do that, he will need to remain healthy, which is why he doesn't make the cut. Note:NFL teams can have a third quarterback for emergency reasons only, which doesn't count towards the roster. That will be Hendon Hooker.

Running Backs (4): Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Nick Singleton, Julius Chestnut. Tony Pollard is the veteran of the group, while Nick Singleton and Tyjae Spears bring fresher legs. As for Chestnut, he is more on the roster for special teams purposes.

Wide Receivers (6): Wan'Dale Robinson, Calvin Ridley, Carnell Tate, Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor, Bryce Oliver. I don't see another number being reasonable other than the Titans having each receiver spot as two deep at this time.

Tight Ends (3): Gunnar Helm, Daniel Bellinger, Kylen Granson. Gunnar Helm is the leader of this group and will be paired with two new additions in the room.

Offensive Line (10): JC Latham, Fernando Carmona, Austin Schlottmann, Peter Skoronski, Dan Moore Jr., Austin Deculus, Jackson Slater, Pat Coogan, Cordell Volson, Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson. The Titans need as much depth as they can get on the offensive line. This is the minimum for them entering the season, in my opinion.

Defensive Line (5): Jeffery Simmons, John Franklin-Myers, Jordan Elliott, Solomon Thomas, Jackie Marshall. Jeffery Simmons returns as the leader of this group, but it is deeper than ever. Five may be a bit excessive, but each of these players could play.

EDGE (4): Femi Oladejo, Keldric Faulk, Jacob Martin, Jermaine Johnson II. Following the Jalyn Harrell injury, the EDGE position is only four deep in my opinion.

Linebackers (5): Cedric Gray, Cody Barton, Anthony Hill Jr., Mohamoud Diabate, James Williams Sr. When it comes to the linebacker room, each will have a massive role, and all players are key for this upcoming season.

Cornerbacks (7): Alontae Taylor, Cor'Dale Flott, Marcus Harris, Jalen McMurray, Joshua Williams, Keydrain Calligan, Micah Robinson. These seven cornerbacks are among the best on the roster. This group is the most versatile and the best fit.

Safeties (4): Amani Hooker, Tony Adams, Kevin Winston Jr., Kendell Brooks. This group isn't very deep beyond the four, which is why I allowed more cornerbacks to make the cut.

Special Teams

Special Teams (3): Morgan Cox, Tommy Townsend, Joey Slye. The only three specialists that the Titans need will be Cox, Townsend, and Slye.
