It's been quite the tournament in the United States, which shared hosting duties with Canada and Mexico. Europeans, South Americans and others have constantly praised the United States for its hosting abilities.

“Based on the numbers we will be requesting it immediately,” Trump said to FIFA President Gianni Infantino prior to the World Cup Final between Argentina and Spain on Sunday afternoon. “We have to do this again, and we have to do this again while I am around, hear that Gianni?”
Based on how fans have reacted to the 2026 World Cup in North America, it wouldn't be surprising to see the United States get another one soon.
Of course, it won't be up to President Trump or the United States. Instead, that'll be FIFA's call.
