The President of the United States is demanding an NFL rules change following Super Bowl 60 on Sunday evening.

The Seattle Seahawks topped the New England Patriots, 29-13, in Super Bowl 60 at Levi's Stadium. The Seahawks dominated the game from start to finish. It wasn't nearly as close as the final score would indicate. Seattle controlled the game from start to finish and the end result was never in doubt.

But President Trump continues to be unhappy with one particular NFL rule. He called it out on his social media platform, Truth Social.

President Trump is unhappy with the NFL's "sissy" kickoff rule.

"And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" he wrote in a Truth Social media post.

President Trump has routinely demanded the rule change

“I can’t watch the new NFL Kickoff,” Trump wrote on Jan. 25. “Like many others, I just turn my head.”

The NFL changed the kickoff rule in 2024. The two teams line up closer to each other and, until the ball is caught, only the kicker and the kickoff returner can move. It's meant to be safer and encourage more returns. And it's worked.

But President Trump is not a fan.

“I hated seeing what the NFL did with the kickoff return,” he wrote in an October 2024 post. “Saw it tonight at the Steelers/Jets game. When you have something that works, don’t ‘tinker’ with it, you may end up with nothing!”

The league, clearly, disagrees.
