Seven major U.S. states are dealing with critical fire condition warnings on Monday morning, February 9.
A "red flag warning" has been issued for seven different U.S. states on Monday. A red flag warning is issued when critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will be shortly.
"A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior," the alert reads.
Seven major U.S. states are dealing with these conditions on Monday: Wyoming, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, Texas, Nebraska and New Mexico.
Prayers are pouring in for the residents of the seven major U.S. states dealing with the conditions.
"Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire," the alert reads.
"Any fire starts will have the potential for quick growth and rapid spread and may be difficult to control."
