Prayers are pouring in after two "horrific" U.S. train accidents this month.
A woman was killed in a horrible train crash in Alabama this week. Michelle Manning, 31, of Mississippi, was killed in the crash. The crash happened on County Road 433 near Johnson Road, near a lumberyard business.
"Manning was driving a Volkswagen Passat when it was struck by a CSX Transportation Train at 7:50 p.m., according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA)," WVTM 13 reported.
"She was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The crossing reopened at about 10:30 p.m., according to the sheriff's office."
Tragically, earlier this month, two teenagers were killed in a train crash in Texas. They were killed upon impact by an oncoming train, while they were on their way to school.
Two siblings, Brileigh and Kyler Dailey, were killed in a crash.
Stephen Steele, the Mayor of Clyde, is devastated by the news.
"This family may have lost two of their children, but we as a community lost two of our children," Steele said. "We are all heartbroken When a tragedy like this happens with one of us, it happens to all of us."
