Fans are thinking of a young snowboarder following a "terrifying" crash at the Winter Olympics on Thursday.
Choi Ga-on, a 17-year-old snowboarder from South Korea, suffered a terrifying crash during the women's halfpipe on Thursday. She came down hard after attempting a big move in the air. Ga-on was down on the snow for several minutes, needing medical attention.
Fans were immediately concerned.
"Choi Ga-on okay?? That seemed like it hurt," one fan wrote.
It's snowing during the women's halfpipe on Thursday, which could cause for even tougher conditions, as American Chloe Kim goes for the gold.
"They’re getting hit with a massive snowfall on the halfpipe girls, it’s going to be tough to see clean runs. Queralt just crashed pretty much on her first big trick, and the Korean Choi Ga-on just ate a brutal slam," one fan wrote.
