Prayers are pouring in after a "horrific" bus crash killed 19 people on Monday.
A passenger bus in Nepal crashed before dawn on Monday, authorities said. Close to 20 people were killed. The bus was reportedly carrying 44 people.
"A New Zealander and a Chinese national were among the 25 injured when the bus headed to the Nepali capital, Kathmandu, from the tourist town of Pokhara fell 200 metres (650 feet) from the road at Behighat in Dhading district, 80 km (50 miles) west of Kathmandu, a police statement said," Reuters announced.
"A spokesperson for Britain's Foreign Office said the government was supporting the family of the British man who died in the accident and was in contact with the local authorities."
Prayers are pouring in for everyone impacted.
"So sad how common this is. Praying for everyone involved," one wrote.
"Horrific to see. Praying for them all," one added.
"Can't believe it. Praying for their families," one shared.
An official investigation into the crash is underway. Bus crashes in Nepal are quite common, with hundreds dying per year on the roads.
