Prayers are pouring in after a "horrible" 100-car U.S. highway pileup on Monday.
Ottawa County in Michigan had a massive pileup on Monday. More than 100 cars were involved in the wreck on I-196. There were several cars and multiple semi-trucks involved in the crash.
More than 10 people are believed to be injured.
"A multi-car pileup started forming on west I-196 from 32nd Avenue to 64th Street just after 10:20 a.m., and as of 12:20 p.m., evolved into an over 100 car pileup including multiple jackknifed semi trucks, and an estimated 30 to 40 semi trucks involved overall, causing a complete closure of I-196 heading west and east for about 10 miles from Zeeland, Mich. to Hudsonville, Mich., according to Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) deputies and Michigan State Police (MSP) troopers," CBS 3 reported.
"All injured people are in the hospital as of 2:37 p.m. and OCSO deputies said there were between nine and 12, all nonfatal."
"Praying no one died," one wrote.
"Thinking of everyone involved," one added.
"Praying for all of the families involved in this crash," one added.
An official investigation into the crash is underway. Our thoughts are with the friends and family members of everyone involved.
