Prayers are pouring in after a body was found in a search for a missing U.S. hiker this week.

A body has been found in the long search for a missing U.S. hiker. Brianna L. Mohr, of Brick, New Jersey, had been missing after going on a hike. The 21-year-old hiker was out in Mount Marcy.

Tragically, after going missing, she was ultimately found dead.

"Authorities report that Brianna L. Mohr, of Brick, New Jersey, was found by Forest Rangers Thursday night after a distress call was sent at 3:00 p.m. She was declared dead near the summit, and her body was recovered Friday morning," ABC News reported.

"Mohr’s dog was also found alive. An autopsy at Glens Falls Hospital took place on Saturday, February 14. Mohr’s official cause of death was determined to be hypothermia, New York State Police report."

Prayers are pouring in for her family in the wake of this devastating news.

"Horrible news. Praying for her family," one wrote.

"Can't imagine what her family is going through. RIP," one added.

"Will be thinking of her family tonight," one shared.
