Prayers are pouring in after a "beloved" football star was found dead at home at 19 years old.

A beloved former football, basketball and baseball star was found unresponsive at home. He was transported to the hospital, but ultimately pronounced dead. The former high school sports star attended school in Carmi–White County, Illinois.

Cade Allen, 19, was pronounced dead.

"Allen was a 2025 graduate of Carmi–White County High School and competed in football, basketball, and baseball in the Black Diamond Conference. In football, he earned All-Black Diamond Conference Second Team honors as a senior and Honorable Mention as a junior. In baseball, he was named the team’s Defensive MVP during his sophomore season. Outside of school, he owned and operated Cade’s Lawn Care," the report stated.

Prayers are pouring in.

"I think this may be one of the biggest losses carmi has felt in a long time. Everyone is heartbroken. Cade, fly high. You’ll be missed," one wrote.

"And one of the nicest young men you’d ever meet… ran his own business, always polite… such a huge loss," another wrote.

"Oh no he mowed our grass for us this last year, so young and hard working. I’ll be praying for his family," one added.

"Oh his poor momma. I cannot even imagine. Prayers for her and the rest of his family. So sad and tragic ," one fan added.

Our thoughts are with the friends and family members of the former high school football star.

May he rest in peace.
