Prayers are pouring in after eight former NFL players have died.
The NFL world is mourning the losses of nine former players, the latest of which, 25-year-old wide receiver Rondale Moore, was found dead this weekend. The former Purdue Boilermakers star was found dead at home.
“Rondale Moore was a complete joy to coach,” Brohm said. “The ultimate competitor that wouldn’t back down from any challenge. Rondale had a work ethic unmatched by anyone. A great teammate that would come through in any situation. We all love Rondale, we loved his smile and competitive edge that always wanted to please everyone he came in contact with.
“We offer all of our thoughts and prayers to Rondale and his family, we love him very much.”

Seven other former NFL players, including Pro Bowler Tre Johnson and longtime NFL veteran Kevin Johnson, have died this offseason.
Tre' Johnson, 54, died on family vacation. Kevin Johnson, tragically, was found dead in a homeless encampment.
Former Super Bowl champion Barry Wilburn, meanwhile, was killed in a house fire. He was just 62 years old.
Michael Proctor, a quarterback who played for the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns, died at 58. He starred collegiately at Murray State.
“We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Murray State Athletics Hall of Famer and Stable of Honor inductee, Michael Proctor,” the school posted on X. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Proctor Family and all of his teammates during this incredibly difficult time.”
A former Super Bowl-winning running back, Scott Laidlaw, who played for the Dallas Cowboys, died at 72.
"Scott Laidlaw, a former Dallas Cowboys fullback in the 1970s, has died. He was 72. Laidlaw’s family confirmed his death to WFAA," they reported.
Former NFL running back Randy McMillan died at 67 years old. He starred for the Colts.
"Former Colts running back Randy McMillan died Wednesday. He was 67," the team announced," the team announced.
"McMillan was a 1981 first-round pick (No. 12 overall) by the Baltimore Colts and spent his entire six-year career with the franchise, making the move from Baltimore to Indianapolis with the team in 1984. In 88 career games (87 starts), McMillan rushed 990 times for 3,876 yards with 24 rushing touchdowns; he added 164 receptions for 1,356 yards with two receiving touchdowns as well."
Josh Cardiello, 30, was pronounced dead after playing pickup hoops.
"Josh passed away early yesterday morning, around 5:30 a.m., after suffering sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) while playing basketball. His loss was completely unexpected and has left our family, friends, and colleagues heartbroken," his father announced.
"Josh loved working at Amgen. He was deeply passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and the purposeful work he did informing and supporting healthcare professionals. He was a true patient advocate, especially committed to serving patients living with cardiovascular disease. Josh understood firsthand the burden these diseases place on patients and families."
