Prayers are pouring in after six teenagers were involved in two "horrific" U.S. highway crashes on Sunday.

There were two deadly U.S. teenager crashes on Sunday. One crash took place in Pennsylvania, while another took place in Connecticut.

The first crash, which took place in Pennsylvania, involved four teens. One teenager was killed, while three others were injured. A car that had reportedly been reported stolen failed to stop when asked by police. A chase ensued and the car being driven by the teens crashed into a concrete barrier.

"The chase came to an end when the Kia struck a concrete barrier near U.S. 422 and State Route 202 in Upper Merion Township. Police say the 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene," ABC 6 reported.

"The investigation into the crash and the events leading up to it remains ongoing."

Elsewhere, in Connecticut, two teens were killed in a tragic crash.

"Two people have died after a multi-car crash on I-84 near the Waterbury and Cheshire line early Sunday morning. The victims were identified as Abdriel Negron. 16, of Waterbury and Sheily Briceno, 18, of Hartford," the report states.

"According to state police, Negron was driving and Briceno was his passenger."

Prayers are pouring in for their families.

"Horrible news, no matter the circumstances," one wrote.

"Praying for their families," one added.

"Can't believe it. Praying for them all," another wrote.

"Such sad news. Will be praying for their parents," one shared.

Investigations into both accidents are underway.

May they rest in peace.
