Prayers are pouring in after a horrific U.S grocery store accident on Thursday afternoon.
Three people are dead and at least six others are injured, after a car crashed into a Los Angeles grocery store. The accident took place on Westwood Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. It happened shortly after noon local time.
"Lantz initially confirmed that at least two victims died, and fire officials later said a third victim died as well," ABC 7 reported.
"LAFD Captain Erik Scott said the people who died were those trapped underneath the car. Of those injured, two patients were considered to be in serious condition, two were in moderate condition and two other patients declined to be transported to the hospital."
The incident was believed to be accidental. The driver of the car is reportedly an elderly woman.
"This does not seem to be of any ill intent," Scott said. "That it (the crash) does not seem to be an intentional act, but rather being investigated, so far, as an accidental traffic collision."
Prayers are pouring in for everyone impacted.
"Awful news," one wrote.
"Praying for their families," one shared.
"Horrific. Thinking of their families today," another added.
An official investigation into the horrible crash is underway. Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
